My mother in law has an old knotted quince tree in her garden. Every two years this tree bears so much fruit it almost collapses. The jelly you get out of the fruit is delicious. It takes some work to prepare it, but it is worth the time.

I love Quince!! I had never heard of it until I was in Spain but we would have the jam for dessert. YUM!!! Can you take a photo of what the fruit looks like, i'm still confused by it....
It looks like an apple. You cant eat the fruit just like that, it is way to hard. I will take a picture this sommer, so we have to wait for the harvest.
